The ACE Business Office recognizes that there are communication issues between ACE R4 (truck manifest) and ACE Cargo Release. In order to facilitate the movement of legitimate cargo, system changes have been implemented. One of these changes is the ability for CBP to manually release Truck entries in ACE Cargo Release. However, in order for this option to be available, a port code must be present on the entry. While we understand that it is not mandatory to file entries with a port code, doing so will assist in the manual release of entries.
