As part of the ACE Single Window effort, the Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) will be collecting additional data on ACE Entries under their regulations and statutes. These entries will be reviewed for compliance and high risk by FWS and if applicable the entry may have a hold placed on them. These holds will result in a manifest hold on the Bill of Lading (BOL) associated to the entry.

The carriers will be receiving new FWS disposition codes for these holds and hold removals that are published in Appendix A of the CAMIR for the Air Mode of Transportation (MOT). CBP expects to begin using the new codes in Certification and Production by Summer 2016. A CSMS message with the specific dates will be published as the soon as known.
