Following the July 23, 2016 deployment of warehouse entry types, ACE has rejected a high number of these entries due to issues with FIRMS codes. On July 30, 2016, ACE Cargo Release relaxed validations to allow these entries to be filed.
In addition, ACE Entry Summary determined that additional validations were in place causing entry summaries to reject and those validations were relaxed today, August 2, 2016.
CBP will send another CSMS to notify the trade when these FIRMS code validations for cargo release and entry summary will be enforced again, after a thorough review of all FIRMS codes.
