U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has updated the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Development and Deployment Schedule, and several ACE CBP and Trade Automated Interface Requirements (CATAIR) chapters posted on CBP.gov. The updated ACE information includes:

• ACE Development and Deployment Schedule - The schedule was updated from September 2016 - Version 9.3 to October 2016 - Version 9.4. Please see the table of changes for updated information.

• CATAIR Appendix PGA, Dated 10/20/2016 – The document was updated with the following changes -
For PG01 Government Agency Processing codes - for AMS, removed redundant AMS section; for FWS, removed NDS; for NMFS, added YFT and NOT for 370 program and added FRE and FRZ for AMR program.
For PG10 Commodity Qualifier Codes - for APHIS Core, changed name of Qualifier A32 from Products/Components to Species Composition.
For PG10 Commodity Characteristic Qualifiers - for APHIS Core, corrected duplicate use of codes in the Breed/Variety A11 series.
For PG14 LPCO Type Codes - for NMFS removed NM1 and NM3; for TTB listed exemption codes for each LPCO type code in different sections.

• ACE DIS XML Schema, Dated 10/20/2016 - This document was updated with the following changes -
Essential changes are that ITN, XTN and FTZAdmissionsNumber are allowed to be sent as associated transactions.
The XSD is backward compatible and will work as-is with trade submissions (i.e. without forcing trade to make changes).
