Due to the recent severe weather at the Laredo Port of Entry, the trade has been forced to divert cargo to nearby port of entries. CBP is requesting that filers and carriers make the necessary updates in the below scenarios:
• If an entry has been created using the port code for Laredo, the trade is being instructed to update the entry by leaving the port code blank. Carriers must update the manifest to the new port of arrival.
• If an entry has NOT been created, CBP requests the trade leave the port code blank and CBP will automatically derive the port of entry from the manifested bill. Carriers must update the manifest to the new port of arrival.
