Current ACE programming does not provide a disclaimer option for commodities filed under tariff codes identified by ATF for review. To help facilitate the review process, for all imports filed under ATF-regulated HTS codes that do not have an ATF reporting requirement, an ATF interim procedure is now in place that requires importers to supply a waiver provided by ATF or a self-declaration by the importer that may be uploaded into ACE Document Image System (DIS) via the CBP03 “Other” code. As a reminder, all ATF form codes were previously removed in ACE to prevent the uploading of the licenses or permits into DIS, as ATF licenses and permits must be filed via the ACE PGA Message Set or in paper.
