Last week system issues (7/1 – 7/6) occurring in the ACE FTZ module may have caused carriers and their select Secondary Notify Parties (i.e., Terminals) to have received multiple “1W” (Permit to Transfer) authorizations against a bill. In these instances, the “1W” is for the same quantity and was sent within 1 status notification (RC/350). These duplicate PTT authorizations should not impact the releasability of the merchandise from the terminals.
