Harmonized System Update (HSU) 1814 was created on September 18, 2018 and contains 1,329 ABI records and 292 harmonized tariff records.
This update includes modifications made to Chapter 44, as a result of Presidential Proclamation 9771, To Take Certain Actions Under the African Growth and Opportunity Act and for Other Purposes, effective October 1, 2018. We expect to incorporate the Chapter 63 modifications cited in our next update.

In addition, changes were completed in support of Presidential Proclamation 9776, Adjusting Imports of Aluminum into the United States, and Presidential Proclamation 9777, Adjusting Imports of Steel into the United States. Adjustments made were effective August 30, 2018.

Modifications were also made to support PGA Message Set functionality.
Adjustments required by the verification of the 2018 Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) are included as well.
