The CBP ACE technical team is aware of and investigating an issue today that is impacting ACE Cargo Release transactions with ocean mode of transportation and inbonds on the entry. We are seeing two issues so far.
1. Previously released entries are reverting to an ADMISSIBLE status.
2. Entries are getting an ADMISSIBLE status and not advancing to a RELEASE status even though they meet the criteria for release status.
Do not attempt an ACE Cargo Release Update or Correction (SE Update or SE Replace) to resolve this issue. It doesn't help.
Again, this issue appears to be limited to ACE Cargo Release for ocean shipments that include an inbond. Please advise your client rep if you have this issue with an entry that isn't ocean with an inbond.
We will send out additional CSMS messages regarding the status of this issue.
