Effective January 1, 2018, the Craft Beverage Modernization and Tax Reform Act of 2017 (CBMA) (as contained in Pub. L. No. 115-97) amended the Internal Revenue Code with respect to the tax treatment of certain alcoholic beverages. CBP's Office of Trade (OT), Trade Policy and Programs (TPP), Commercial Operations Revenue and Entry Division (CORE) will host a CBMA webinar for the Trade community on February 14, 2019 from 3:30 to 4:30 PM (EST). On this webinar, CBP will discuss updates and clarifications to the CBMA filing as outlined in CSMS #18-000609. CBP will focus on questions received from the trade community, along with problems CBP is finding with the supporting CBMA documentation submitted by the trade community.
