Title:PGA correction transaction (CA/CC) has poorly formatted ACE Cargo Release (SO) generated

CBP is investigating an issue where the ACE Cargo Release Status (SO) is poorly formatted after a PGA Correction Transaction (CA/CC) has been received for an entry. The issue began yesterday (March 7, 2019). It ONLY impacts entries where a CA/CC transaction was received error free. The SO transaction generated includes extra line breaks within the transaction.

Some filer systems may be able to take in these transactions, or at least be aware that they received a transaction in the poor format. Other filers may not see any evidence of processing the correction because they simply do not process the poorly formatted SO transaction at all.

If you sent a PGA correction (CA/CC) yesterday or today and haven't received a response that includes the PGA status, do not resubmit the PGA Correction.

Email your CBP Client Representative with the entry number and the date and time you sent the correction. Client Representatives are working with the technical team to generate the ACE Cargo Release Transactions in the proper format.

For FDA entries, filers can check FDA entry status in the FDA ITACS.

Any updates to this issue will be sent via CSMS.
