Providing access to the most up-to-date trade data, in a timely manner, is a business imperative for CBP. To this end, CBP's Office of Trade is excited to notify the trade community of an initiative that is underway to make trade data more accessible to ACE users. The initiative is comprised of three projects aimed at providing more powerful reporting tools and expanded access to data for the trade community. The first project is the transition of Importer Trade Activity (ITRAC) data to ACE Reports.

Starting this Spring, CBP will begin migrating ITRAC data to ACE Reports, making the data available to all trade members, on-demand. During this time, trade may continue to use existing processes for requesting ITRAC reports via CDs and quarterly uploads via the CTPAT portal (ISA participants). This will allow CBP time to migrate all ITRAC data through the course of the summer and provide trade with time to familiarize with running ITRAC reports in ACE, while continuing to provide access to existing ITRAC reporting processes. At the end of the full transition to ACE, existing ITRAC reporting processes will be retired and replaced with quicker, more streamlined access to the data. Please see the attached flyer for more information, including an approximate timeline for the transition.

CBP will provide additional details on what to expect in the coming months. Please also stay tuned for information on the future components of the initiative, which will include 1) enhancing ACE Reports processing speeds and data retrieval capabilities; and 2) providing new data universes in ACE Reports.
