- The ACP group is an organization that was created in 1975 by the Georgetown Agreement. The ACP is a group of African, Caribbean and Pacific States that signed the Georgetown Agreement, which is a partnership agreement between the ACP group and the European Union. This agreement is officially called the "ACP-EC Partnership Agreement" or the "Cotonou Agreement".
- The Cotonou Agreement was signed by all 79 ACP group member countries except Cuba. The Cotonou Agreement is an agreement that binds its signatory ACP group countries to the European Union.
