As you are probably aware, CBP has been experiencing problems with the processing of Importer/Consignee Create/Update transactions (ABI Application ID TI/TR) and Importer/Bond Queries (ABI Application ID KI/KR). This is an intermittent problem that has been occurring since April 17, 2009 and is currently being investigated.

If you are experiencing problems getting output for these transactions, please contact the Technology Support Center at 866-530-4172 and open a trouble ticket.

CBP is proactively identifying failed transactions and taking steps to update the system as quickly as possible so that you are able to transmit entry/entry summary transactions without getting “importer not on file” errors.

We will continue to give this problem priority attention.
