Revised ACE ABI CATAIR chapters for an upcoming ACE deployment will soon be posted for your information to CBP.GOV
The changes to the affected CATAIR chapters are specifically to revise and clarify the party definitions for the parties to the ACE entry summary transaction.
The deployment of these revisions to ACE is currently scheduled for August 28, 2010. CSMS messages will be issued when the chapters have been posted and again when the deployment has occurred.
The Table of Changes for the revised chapters are attached to assist you with the programming changes you may incorporate in your systems. Please note that the format and content of entry summary transactions you submit today are compatible with the revised CATAIR specifications contained in these chapters. The CATAIR changes only involve the definitions of the parties to be used for the entry summary header and line data.
