Attention ACE ABI Software Developers and Entry Summary Filers –
The next Entry Summary Accounts & Revenue (ESAR) release is scheduled to be deployed to ACE Production on October 3, 2010. This delivery will include a revised ACE Entry Summary Query and additional information in the Entry Summary Status Notification. (Please refer to CSMS Message 10-000218) The functionality for Post Summary Corrections (PSC) WILL NOT be implemented in this release. As a result of this decision, the ACE Entry Summary will not change.
Background
After reviewing the proposed PSC design, trade representatives informed CBP that the design was not compatible with their existing business processes. As a result of this information, CBP initiated several change requests to revise the baseline design. Those change requests have not yet been incorporated into the ACE Entry Summary and will not be available until late Spring 2011. CBP canvassed current ACE Entry Summary software developers and filers to determine if the functionality would be useful. The response from the trade was to wait for the change requests to be implemented.
