This message is a clarification to the related message 11-000030. FDA apologizes for any confusion created by the original message. The clarification is:
Cargo that is listed on an entry under FDA examination status, but for which a May Proceed has been previously issued by FDA, may be released by the importer and therefore does not have to be held at the same location as the examination-required cargo.
