Title:FDA Delays in Entry Processing

To all entry filers:

FDA is aware of system slowness which is causing delays in entry processing by FDA. The FDA has identified a technical issue that is preventing some entries/lines from being staged for admissibility review. In turn, entry reviewers are not prompted to make an admissibility decision.

A workaround has been identified to mitigate the issue until a permanent fix is implemented. This interim fix appears to have taken care of the majority of "hung" entries, and we are taking other steps to identify entries which may not yet be staged for admissibility review. A more long term fix is planned in the next few days.

Should an entry filer encounter a scenario where an entry/line seems to have successfully transmitted to FDA but no further action appears to be taking place, please contact the local District office to ensure the issue is addressed in a timely manner. If it turns out the entry has been hung up, the District will contact the appropriate people to move the entry forward for processing.
