SUBJECT: Update on FDA Delays in Entry Processing
On June 9, 2011, CSMS 11-000124 was issued indicating FDA's awareness of system slowness causing delays in entry processing. The FDA identified a technical issue that prevented some entries/lines from being staged for admissibility review. In turn, entry reviewers were not prompted to make an admissibility decision.
Measures were taken to address this issue. Entries/lines found to be hung up have been pushed to admissibility review. It does not appear that entries/lines continue to be prevented from being staged for admissibility review.
