CBP will be conducting two technical seminars for trade software developers. The purpose of these seminars will be to discuss upcoming programming changes for new functionality scheduled to be delivered as part of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).

Each seminar is expected to take two days. Information on dates and location is to be determined.

The first seminar will target ocean and rail software developers and will focus on CAMIR and X12 message formats that are required as part of the M1 Ocean and Rail Manifest Deployment. This seminar will provide the opportunity to have an open dialogue with CBP on the technical issues surrounding the programming changes, related policy, process, and information on the upcoming Trade Pilot test.

The second seminar will target ABI participants and will focus on current and future ACE deployments including ACE Entry Summary Filing, Post Summary Corrections, PGA Message Set, Document Image System and Cargo Release. This seminar will provide the opportunity to have an open dialogue with CBP on the technical issues surrounding the programming changes and related policy and process.

Please be advised that there will most likely be a conference fee associated with each seminar and that seating is limited. No more than 3 representatives from each company may participate.
