REMINDER - TRADE REGISTRATION
NCBFAA SPONSORED SOFTWARE VENDOR SESSION
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2014
WESTIN HOTEL – BWI

The registration process for the February 25, 2014 Software Vendor session is in progress. If you have not already done so we encourage the appropriate software vendors, brokers, and any interested parties to register for this session, and make appropriate room reservations, as soon as possible.

Attached, for your reference, is the current preliminary draft agenda for the Software Vendor session. (subject to updates prior to the session)

The National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA) has invited U.S. Customs and Border Protection to present upcoming programming changes for new functionality scheduled to be delivered as part of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE). The meeting is scheduled for February 25th at the Westin Baltimore/Washington-BWI Airport. This will be a full day session scheduled from approximately 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

This session should be of particular interest to ABI software developers since it will be the first time technical information will be presented related to electronic filing of bonds. New and changing ABI functionality associated to Entry Summary Accounts and Revenue (ESAR) and ACE Cargo Release (including the PGA Message Set) will also be presented. In addition, information on the upcoming deployment of AES (commodity) and future Export Manifest will be discussed.

Final documents, presentations, and the final agenda will be available from NCBFAA prior to the sessions. These sessions will be very valuable in preparing importers, exporters, brokers, carriers, and their software developers for the upcoming deployments of ACE functionality. We encourage your participation in this session.

Please check the NCBFAA website for additional information on registration and hotel reservations.

Trade participants are encouraged to register and make their hotel reservations as soon as possible. NCBFAA has blocked a specific number of rooms for this event.
