The functionality to allow Remote Location Filing (RLF) transactions to be submitted with separate cargo release and entry summary transactions was to be deployed on February 28, 2016 for ACE entries. Part of this functionality was deployed as scheduled.
However, the validation that requires an RLF entry summary to be certified for cargo release was not enhanced as scheduled, and continues to require the cargo release certification. This functionality was tied to other validations that were initially scheduled for February 28, 2016 prior to the revised ACE Transition dates.
This validation enhancement is expected to be available for deployment on Thursday, March 3. Another CSMS will notify the trade once the deployment is scheduled. Until that time, filers will see an entry summary error requiring certification for cargo release, even if the cargo release has been filed in ACE already.
