Title:New and Updated ACE and PGA Documentation Available on CBP.gov

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has posted new and updated Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Automated Broker Interface (ABI), CBP and Trade Automated Interface Requirements (CATAIR) and Partner Government Agency (PGA) documentation to CBP.gov. The new and updated documentation includes:

• Draft ACE ABI CATAIR Chapter for Nafta Duty Deferral - This chapter provides record formats and processing instructions to submit NAFTA Duty Deferral and related information to ACE.

• PGA Message Set – The language for PGA correction and the data relationship model sections was clarified. In addition, in the PG60, the status of Additional Information from Conditional to Mandatory.

• Appendix PGA – Changes were made to the following sections: PG01 - Correction indicators, Agency Program Code; PG10 - Commodity Qualifier Code; PG14 - LPCO Type code; PG23 - Affirmation of Compliance code.

• The Agency Tariff Code to Agency Cross Reference - Code CP1 for the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) was removed. CPSC will not be using Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) flags in the foreseeable future so the flag has been removed.
