This message and attachment serves to provide an update to the trade community regarding the status of the Partner Government Agency (PGA) ACE/ITDS Pilots. While some PGAs have concluded their pilots, or intend to conclude them in the near future, others have pilots that will remain open pending regulations.

Please note that, with certain exceptions enumerated below, these pilots are not restricted to a certain group of brokers and self-filers. All customs brokers and self-filers, who are ready to file in ACE, are encouraged to file entries for the currently available entry types in ACE for the following PGAs: APHIS (Lacey and Core), ATF, DDTC, E&C, EPA (TSCA, ODS, On-Road V&E), FDA, FSIS, NHTSA, and TTB.

Exceptions: The AMS pilot is currently restricted to two filers at the Ports of L.A./Long Beach and Philadelphia. The EPA Non-Road Vehicles & Engines (V&E) pilot and EPA Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) pilot are restricted to nine importers each. The EPA Non-Road V&E pilot has met its restricted number of importers and is no longer accepting new participants. The EPA FIFRA pilot is continuing to accept new participants until it meets the restricted number of importers. The CDC pilot is currently operational at the Detroit and Miami Airports, and is in the process of expanding to other ports with a CDC presence.

The CDC and E&C pilots will conclude upon the publishing of the DIS pilot close-out FRN, which is slated for the fall of 2016.
