The first ACE Entry Summaries will be included in the implementation currently scheduled for January 2009.
CBP will be creating a new document ‘ACE ABI CATAIR’ which will include all of the ABI transactions required for filing entry summaries in ACE. We will continue to build on this document until ALL ABI functionality is moved from ACS to ACE and we can retire the current CATAIR.
The first chapters have now been posted to the website at: http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/toolbox/about/modernization/

The first ACE CATAIR chapters are titled:
Entry Summary Filing and Response Guide - new application identifiers AE/AX

Each of the chapters contains the following note:
The reader should be advised that these documents are considered final. However, the document retains the DRAFT designation in the footer until such time that a publication number from the CBP Office of Public Affairs has been assigned to the new “ACE ABI CATAIR” publication. For your information, subsequent revisions to this document will be controlled through the official CBP document amendment process.
