On October 22, 2010, CSMS 10-000246 was issued with a number of changes to Importer Security Filing (ISF) stand-alone documentation. The CAMIR document inadvertently included an SST identifier in the SF20 record. This identifier will be removed because the Shipment Sub-Type was instead included in the new SF13 record. The change will be reflected in a new version of the CAMIR document to be published shortly.

Additionally, for those software providers who are unable to provide updates to their clients at once and immediately on December 18, 2010, CBP will continue to accept the current formatting for a period of time with an Accepted with Warnings message. A CSMS will be issued prior to converting these Accepted with Warnings messages to Rejections. This should allow all parties ample time to comply with the programming changes described in CSMS 10-000246.

If you have any questions, please contact your assigned Client Representative, or call 571-468-5500 for more information.
