On July 24, 2009, CSMS #09-000271 was issued to notify Importer Security Filing (ISF) filers that certain edits will be switched from 'ISF ACCEPTED WITH WARNINGS' to 'ISF REJECTED' effective August 15, 2009 as scheduled.
Besides serving as a reminder of these changes, this message is to notify ISF filers that one additional edit will also switch from 'ISF ACCEPTED WITH WARNINGS' to 'ISF REJECTED'. Reporting a party using an identification number (IRS number or Social Security Number) that is not currently on file with CBP will be rejected. While such occurrences have been limited, please ensure the data you are submitting is valid and correct.
