Referenced CSMS Messages 11-000114 and 11-000150 advised PMS Filers of the calculation for the PMS month designation is based on the RELEASE DATE of the shipment. This CSMS message addresses quota entries.
The ACS ABI CATAIR document will have the "DESCRIPTION" field changed to include Quota entries to the below language for PMS month designation:
The numeric month (MM) when the entry summary will appear on the preliminary periodic monthly statement.
Ex. The merchandise was released in the month of June, then this field will be entered as 07 (July).
Quota entries should use the date of presentation instead of release date for determining the PMS month.
